Welcome to Zen Scents Custom Gifts (“we,” “our,” “us”). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website located at www.zenscentscg.co.uk (the “Site”) and the purchase of products including wax melts, car diffusers, and personalised items.

By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms.

2. Products & Safety

Our products (including wax melts and car diffusers) are for fragrance purposes only.

Safety guidance:

  • Never leave melting wax unattended.

  • Keep away from children and pets.

  • Use wax melts only in appropriate wax burners.

  • Do not ingest.

We are not responsible for misuse of products.

Scent strength and fragrance preference vary from person to person, and we do not guarantee personal scent satisfaction.

3. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are listed in GBP (£).

  • Prices include VAT where applicable.

  • We reserve the right to change prices at any time.

  • Payment must be made in full before an order is processed.

If a pricing error occurs, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.

4. Processing & Delivery

  • Processing times are [1-3 Business Days] unless stated otherwise.

  • Delivery times are estimates only and not guaranteed.

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by Royal Mail or courier services.

  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.

Risk transfers to the customer upon delivery.

5. Right to Cancel (UK Consumer Contracts Regulations)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, customers have the right to cancel their order within 14 days of receiving goods.

However, this right does not apply to:

  • Personalised or custom-made items

  • Sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to hygiene reasons once unsealed

To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us in writing within 14 days of receiving your order.

Returned items must be:

  • Unused

  • In original condition

  • Returned within 14 days of cancellation notice

Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving returned goods.

6. Faulty or Damaged Items

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, customers are entitled to goods that are:

  • As described

  • Fit for purpose

  • Of satisfactory quality

If your item arrives faulty or damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence.

You may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with UK law.

7. Custom & Personalised Orders

Customers are responsible for checking spelling, names, and order details before submitting their order.

Once production begins, personalised items cannot be cancelled.

Custom items are non-refundable unless faulty or incorrect due to our error.

8. Allergies & Sensitivities

Our products contain fragrance oils and other ingredients. While we follow UK safety standards, we are not liable for allergic reactions or sensitivities.

If irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately.

9. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

  • Any matter which cannot be excluded under UK law

Otherwise, our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including branding, logos, product descriptions, and images — is the property of Zen Scents Custom Gifts.

You may not reproduce or use our content without written permission.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
